Island residents want to see a 'fairer' system when people get public sector houses.
The latest figures of a government survey show more than 70 per cent of those who responded want the current system to change.
The Department of Infrastructure launched a consultation on the issue in December 2017, as the current system hasn't been changed for 15 years.
The department says almost 200 people replied and it will now use the information to update the system and support the people most in need.
