The divestment of fossil fuels will be discussed at a public meeting in the Island capital this evening.
Positive Action Group is hosting a presentation on the matter being carried out by Louise Whitelegg of Christian Aid and supported by Archibald Elliott of the Isle of Man Student Climate Network.
Louise argues divestment is the 'only sensible option' for the future of the planet and is planning to put forward the case this evening for re-thinking the Islands investment strategy to link in with tackling the climate emergency.
Tonights session will take place at the Manx Legion Club on Market Hill in Douglas from 7.30pm and is free to attend.
