Public engage with re-launch of Neighbourhood Watch

There's a real desire from the public to play their part in bringing to an end the Island's ongoing burglary crimewave.

That's the positive message from Douglas's community sergeant following last week's Neighbourhood Watch meeting.

It was held with the aim of establishing a number of new watches around the Island - something which has died out in recent years.

Wendy Barker says she hadn't anticipated quite how popular the meeting was going to be:
