Public Consultation to Help Shape Future Social Services Bill
The Department of Health and Social Security recently undertook a public consultation geared toward shaping the revamp of their Social Services bill.
The consultation came about following a desire to update certain legislation that would enable the Department to change and develop services to meet the needs of service users.
It’s thought that the revamped bill will greatly assist carers, as they’ll get their own needs assessment carried out to aid their job of looking after an ill or elderly family member.
