Members of the public are being asked to stay away from Peel headland after a gorse fire yesterday.
Crews from Douglas, Kirk Michael, Port Erin and Peel were drafted in to deal with the large blaze on Peel hill near Corrin’s Folly.
An IOM Fire & Rescue spokesman has thanked the public for staying away so far and said there'll be a safety update later today.
