The public are asked not to speculate as police continue search efforts for missing Jamie Barrow.
Officers say the multi-agency search will carry on over the weekend with focus on the Ramsey and Maughold area.
39 year old Jamie is still believed to have been last seen at 10:50pm on Sunday September 17 - he's described as a white man with short brown/mousey coloured hair.
He's thought to have been wearing a black hoodie and black and grey work trousers, and possibly a thick black outdoor jacket and 'Dewalt' branded trousers, but this has not been confirmed.
He also may have been carrying a large green camouflage/army style Bergen.
Police are thanking the public and asking them to remain vigilant over the weekend, but refrain from speculating out of respect for Jamie's family.
Anyone with any further information or sightings of Jamie should contact Douglas Police Headquarters on 631212 or 999 in an emergency.
