Public asked not to return census forms by post

There is a fine of upto £1000 for people who fail to complete the form.

Today marks the all important census day on the Isle of Man, with all form recipients required to fill out the relevant details for collection over the coming week.

The census falls every 5 years and provides a wealth of valuable information for the Government.

Most significant of all the information is that it gives the Island a definitive population count.

There is a fine of upto £1000 for people who fail to complete the form.

People are asked to only submit their forms to the official collection teams, they're urged not to send them back in the mail.
