People on the Isle of Man are being urged to be considerate as 'seal pupping season' gets underway.
The Manx Wildlife Trust has confirmed the first seal of the season has given birth on the Calf of Man this week - over the next two months more will have their pups around the Island's coastline.
Marine officer Lara Howe says it's very important not to disturb the animals during this 'highly sensitive period':
Although the seals can look cute they can be aggressive - people are being asked not to approach them and to keep dogs on leads:
If you're concerned about a seal pup you can contact the MSPCA or find a link to the Manx Wildlife Trust.
