Port St Mary Commissioners is seeking to reduce the number of board members it has.
The authority has given notice it has made a scheme to reduce its membership from nine to five.
It's inviting anyone with representations or wants to raise objections to the scheme to contact the Local Government Unit based at the Sea Terminal in Douglas by 5pm on March 29.
The notice is also available to be viewed at Port St Mary Town Hall on The Promenade during opening hours.
