A man jailed for illegally hosting members of three other households during lockdown has had a provoking behaviour charge dropped by the prosecution.
Scott Eric Carbutt of Parliament Street in Ramsey appeared before magistrates via a live videolink from prison.
He'd denied the offence, said to have taken place at his home at around 6am on April 3 as he was being arrested for breaking lockdown laws.
Prosecutor Rebecca Cubbon told the hearing because the 39 year old was currently serving a prison term, it wasn't in the public interest to pursue the charge.
She offered no evidence, and magistrates marked the charge as dismissed.
