A protest is taking place this morning in Laxey.
Residents are objecting against a flood gate being installed on Glen Road in the village.
It follows the Department of Infrastructure confirming the floodgate will be installed in approximately 10 weeks.
The protest will see some of those whose homes were affected by the devastating flooding last year.
It's due to begin at 9am on Glen Road near to the wall.
