Despite crime rates being at a 30 year low police say people should not become complacent about security.
With the clocks going back this weekend it’s seen as an ideal opportunity to crime proof your property.
Police recommend checking things like door and window locks, fitting security lighting and moving any tools from the garden into a shed or garage.
