Police are reminding people how to protect their tanks after reports of a large amount of oil stolen on Island.
The Constabulary warns that thieves are likely to target tanks when they are left visible, unsecured and easily accessible.
It's recommended to use a padlock, position the tank in a well-lit area and installing CCTV.
Officers say to also look out for neighbours and don't be afraid to report anything untoward.
