There are plans to turn vacant building space in the centre of Douglas into a series of apartments.
Proposals have been put forward to convert space above the Prospect Hotel on Prospect Hill into four new single-bed flats across the first and second floor of the structure.
In its application, Heron & Brearley says the floors above the pub were converted into office space in the mid 1990s but have been vacant for several years with little interest from potential tenants.
The plans are now subject to approval.
