There could be good news in store for skaters in the south of the Island, as planners consider proposals for a new facility.
Port St Mary commissioners have applied for planning permission for a new skate park in the village.
The proposals would see concrete ramps and a seating area built in a park on Clifton Road north.
In its application, the board says the site - next door to the golf course - is currently a tarmac play area.
