 
                            Manx Utilities Chair John Wannenburgh says just over £3 million has already been spent on a proposed windfarm in the south of the Island.
He gave the figure in the House of Keys this week in response to a question from Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse about the Cair Vie development.
Mr Wannenburgh said £3.14 million had been spent on pre-development costs, and he said the estimated cost of the facility was around £40 million.
