Could the Island get a new animal rehabilitation centre?
Therapaws is seeking permission to change the use of one of the units at Eden Business Park in Braddan to accommodate the rehab and hydrotherapy facility which, the applicant says, would be the first of its type on the Isle of Man.
The business currently operates in the Bride area for animals which have suffered injuries, have existing medical conditions or need proper recovery from surgery but is now looking for bigger premises due to increasing demand.
If given the green light, the business would operate between 9am and 5pm on weekdays except Wednesdays (until 3pm) and 9am to 4pm on Saturdays
Mondays and Tuesdays would offer extended times between 6pm and 9pm to allow for clients working hours.
