Residents in two properties in Laxey have been advised to evacuate following a landslide over the weekend.
Garff Commissioners says the houses, on Old Laxey Hill have also been disconnected from services by Island Energy and Manx Utilities as a ‘precaution’.
An emergency road closure order has also been put in place for seven days along a short section of Laxey Promenade to the south of The Shed.
It comes after a landslide at the former End Cafe site, which is currently cordoned off but is still experiencing rock falls.
