A prominent Manx parliamentarian's CBE medal has been gifted to Tynwald.
The late Clifford Irving was appointed CBE in 1980, and had a political career spanning some 40 years.
At various times he represented North Douglas, West Douglas and East Douglas, and was the chairman and member of a number of Boards and Councils.
His daughter Caroline has now gifted his medal and certificate 'for the benefit of future generations.'
