A prominent campaigner for assisted dying in the UK is set to meet with Tynwald Members later this month.
Nathan Stilwell is the Assisted Dying Campaigner for Humanists UK, he is visiting the Island to add his weight to MHK Dr Allinson's Assisted Dying bill, which is receiving its second reading this month.
He will address both Tynwald members, and the various on Island campaign groups who have been fighting for the Island to take the lead and introduce Assisted Dying legislation.
Prior to his current position he was the Senior Communications Officer for the Jo Cox Foundation, which was set up to continue the late MP's legacy and values.
Nathan said 'people on the Isle of man desperately want to see a change in the law that allows people who are dying in pain, suffering and indignity to have a choice at the end of their lives.'
