The Infrastructure Minister responded to questions about pedestrian crossings on Douglas Promenade in the House of Keys this week.
Tim Crookall was asked by MHK Jason Moorhouse what advice should be given to drivers, pedestrians and cyclists about the uncontrolled crossings.
It comes after safety concerns from Mr Moorhouse who said the crossings were difficult to see in the dark.
Mr Crookall referred to sections of the highway code, noting that drivers should be mindful:
He added that a safety audit will take place in April, which will access any need for extra signage.
