The Island's Infrastructure Minister admits it's unlikely works on Douglas Promenade will be finished by the March 31 deadline.
Tim Baker MHK, along wtih DOI Chief Executive, Nick Black, gave evidence to the Environment and Infrastructure Policy Review Committee this week on how the project is progressing.
Mr Baker told the panel gas main works on Broadway had suffered delays with the road now not due to reopen until December.
The committee also asked the minister if he could give a guess on when the initiative may now be completed:
