The road construction along Douglas prom is now complete, according to the Department of Infrastructure.
The final length of surfacing has been laid on Central Promenade this week, being described as a 'major milestone to reaching the end of the Refurbishment Scheme.'
This means all significant traffic management and temporary traffic lights will be removed, allowing traffic to flow freely.
All highway parking spaces are now accessible with additional temporary parking available on the walkway on Thursday November 25, for the start of late night shopping.
