A 22-year old man was arrested over the weekend following a mysterious incident which forced the closure of Central promenade, Douglas.
Police were called to an address around the vicinity of the promenade in the early hours of Saturday morning.
As a result of the incident, an arrest was made and the road closed for a short period of time.
Police have thanked the public for their co-operation and understanding in bringing the matter to a swift conclusion.
