A project has been launched by the Department of Health and
Macmillan Cancer Support group geared toward improving end of life care on the
Isle of Man.
The project will be spaced out over 2 years and will develop
a strategy with the help of patients, carers and health and social care
professionals contributing.
The strategy will aim to identify what the individuals
preference may be at the end of their life, and will endeavour to help people
die in the place of their choosing.
