Good progress has been made on clearing the Mountain Road today.
That’s according to the Department of Infrastructure which has had teams working along the route with a snow blower.
The Mountain Road has been closed since Friday and is not expected to reopen until at least 12pm tomorrow.
The DOI says it’s concentrating its efforts today on the high level routes using snow blowing equipment, excavators and gritters.
Other roads which are also closed until 12pm tomorrow include the Beinn-y-Phott, Sulby Glen, Injebreck, Brandywell and Sloc.
