The cost of Manx milk is set to increase from next week.
A litre of Isle of Man Creamery milk will now cost £1.35 instead of £1.15, with the price of a 1.75 litre carton rising by 25p.
It comes as farmers have seen the cost of producing a litre rise by 60% so far this year, according to Creamery Managing Director Findlay Macleod.
The retail price of milk is controlled by a group consisting of members of the Office of Fair Trading and the National Farmers Union, and is chaired by Agriculture Minister Clare Barber.
The price increase comes into effect on August 1 and applies to all milk sold on Island in store and through a doorstop delivery service.
