President of Workers Union Prospect to Visit Island

The president of Workers Union Prospect will visit the Island tomorrow amid fears of mass job cuts in the Public Sector.

Catherine Donaldson is coming to address a meeting where its expected she’ll draw parallels between this situation and that of the current poblems in the UK's Public Sector.

Prospect has over 1600 members on the Island, it’s anticipated there’ll be busy times ahead for the union as it looks as though the Island will bare the brunt of the Government’s cost saving initiatives.
