Managers and coaches of all sporting activities and health clubs on the Isle of Man have been invited to attend a presentation giving essential information on the MRSA strain that has been detected on the Island.
MRSA USA 300 affects primarily young, fit and healthy people and it often transmitted in places like sports centres and swimming pools.
Health officials on the Island have been raising awareness to the bug by distributing posters, booklets and leaflets in key areas.
The presentation will take place at the Education and Training Centre in Douglas, on Monday, January 17th.
