The investigation into the cause of the Manx2.com aircraft disaster in Ireland last week is now well underway.
It’s a week on since the tragedy, which saw 6 lives lost and another 6 seriously injured.
What is known about the crash at Cork Airport is that the plane was on it’s third attempt at landing in serious fog, other than that it’s proved difficult to ascertain why it crashed, and how it came to end up on it’s roof.
The two black box recorders were recovered in tact with experts currently analysing the data.
They expect to have completed that task by the end of the week, but a preliminary report isn’t expected for at least another month, the full report could take upto a year.
The funerals of two of the victims from the Cork air accident will be held later today.
Belfast deputy harbourmaster Captain Michael Evans is to be buried following a service in the city's docks area this afternoon.
The funeral for businessman Richard Noble is scheduled in the south of the city.
Funerals for two of the victims were held on Monday.
