Enterprise Minister Tim Johnston says a science event for children has been postponed and not cancelled.
He faced questions in the House of Keys this week about the cancellation of STEMfest, an annual event at the Villa Marina which sees hundreds of school pupils taking part in educational activities.
Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse asked how much the event had cost before being called off.
Mr Johnston said transport problems had meant the event had to be put back until early next year, and had cost around £9,000 so far:
