New rules mean explosive and corrosive liquids can be sent through the post from today.
The Civil Aviation Authority has relaxed requirements on previously prohibited items.
It means people can now post things to the UK like aerosols, nail varnishes, perfumes and alcohol.
Electrical equipment containing lithium batteries can also be sent.
Senders will now have to confirm with the Post Office counter clerks that their package adheres to the rules.
