The Island's Post Office is 'working hard' to make sure people's cards and parcels are delivered before Christmas.
To help cater for larger volumes, they've recruited extra staff and many existing employees are working over-time to deal with the demand.
General Manager of Mails - Geoff Rickard has apologised to anyone whose items have been delayed, adding staff have been playing catch-up, following recent weather-related delays.
It's estimated more than two-million items will be delivered on-Island over the festive period.
