Residents will now be able to receive texts when items posted to them are ready to be collected.
The new system from Isle of Man Post Office means if a customer receives a notice left card at their homes can now log on to the postal service's website and choose from one of nine sites to collect items from, they'll then get a text when that item is ready to be picked up.
General Manager for Mails, Geoff Rickard, says: "We are always striving to improve our customer’s experience and are looking to increase the number of parcel collection locations.
"This enhancement to our Collection service gives more flexibility for customers to determine the most convenient options for them should they miss a delivery."
