A massive drop in the number of letters being sent means Isle of Man Post Office is to cut collections from its post boxes around the Island.
From Monday, most boxes will only be emptied at 10am, although the busiest will continue to have a second collection at 5pm.
The organisation says over the past six years, the number of letters being sent has dropped by more than 40 per cent.
Chief Operating Officer Lisa Duckworth says adjusting to the lower volume will mean better efficiency and lower carbon emissions as it services the Island's 244 post boxes.
