Fewer Christmas cards were sent last year but the number of parcels and packets increased.
Figures released by the Isle of Man Post Office for December show that over 300,000 packages were delivered on the Island.
In total the mails division handled 4.3 million items – slightly down on the previous year’s figures.
Despite being affected by severe weather – especially over the weekend before Christmas – postal workers still delivered 25,000 packets and parcels.
