The Island's Post Office is continuing to 'work hard to deliver parcels' in time for Christmas.
It's among the challenges of exceptional high volumes, with the increase of online shopping this year.
Since Covid-19 lockdowns on both the Island and in the UK, there's been a surge in parcels due in customers using the internet for convenience and in some cases, through necessity.
Correspondingly, with many UK companies being closed or staff working from home, the amount of letters and large letters has fallen significantly.
This has continued into Christmas with unprecedented levels of packets and parcels being received and delivered by IOMPO.
In November, the post office delivered 25% less letters but 76% more parcels and packets.
