Post Office campaigners awarded more time

No plans have been put forward to save the crown post office in Douglas.

 
That's the chairman of the Isle of Man Post Office who says it's only people in Ramsey making their feelings heard. 
 
A newly formed consortium, the Ramsey Postal Co-operative, has been given more time to put forward a proposal to save the service in the northern town. 
 
Government is planning to relocate the offices into the nearby SPAR stores, run by Mannin Retail, in order to save £750,000. 
 
Graham Cregeen has thanked the company for its patience but says the consortium only has until the end of March:
