An MHK wants to know what contingency plans are in place if oil prices spike.
Ramsey MHK Lawrie Hooper has tabled a question to Chief Minister Alf Cannan to raise the issue in the House of Keys.
Earlier this week, Mr Cannan warned significant fuel price rises were about to hit the Island.
The House of Keys is due to sit from 10am on Tuesday, March 31 in Legislative Buildings in Douglas.
