Controversial Bill Up For Debate In PAG Meeting
The Positive Action Groups final meeting of the year will discuss the contentious Criminal Justice Bill 2010.
The Bill is endeavouring to broaden Police powers on the Isle of Man, the main theme of the meeting on Monday will be to see how this could threaten individual freedoms on the Island.
The Bill has been seen as controversial and is set to come under real scrutiny when a 3-person committee examines it in further detail.
3 MHK’s will be present on the panel to discuss the finer details of the Bill at the meeting on Monday 29th November, starting at 7.30pm at the Manx Legion Club in Douglas.
