The Isle of Man has had a visit from one of the UK's best-known train enthusiasts.
Former conservative minister Michael Portillo was on the Island this week.
On Monday, he was photographed by railway volunteers as he took the Steam Train in Douglas and also met Tynwald president Laurence Skelly.
The former MP for Enfield Southgate and Kensington and Chelsea MP retired from politics in 2005 and presented a number of TV shows about railways.
Mr President welcomed Michael Portillo to Tynwald this morning for a tour of Chambers.
