Popular Touch Tanks Revived Thanks to Regeneration Committee
A new scheme has been set up for the Summer Holidays to provide some informative hands on fun for kids and grown ups across the Island.
It’s picking back up from the popular touch tanks featured in each Marine Day, that were held at the Port Erin Biological Station up until 2006.
The popular touch tanks will give the public the chance to explore a variety of marine life from orange sea slugs to green crabs up close and personal.
The Port St Mary Regeneration Committee, in partnership with the Manx Wildlife Trust, has spearheaded the initiatve.
The Touch Tanks will be available to the public every Saturday from 10am till 2pm at the Paddy’s Market in Port St Mary.
