A local authority in the south of the Island says it's applied to lease the Southern Civic Amenity Site.
Port St Mary Commissioners have asked the Department of Infrastructure for the site.
The board says it would be for five terms of five years each - at a rent of £17,651 per year.
The DOI will consider the petition later this month.
