A local veterinary practice has become the first to offer keyhole surgery to animals.
'Strand Vets' based in Port Erin will now offer the procedure - following a £40,000 investment.
The surgery can be offered to the likes of cats and dogs but can even be performed on Pigs.
The surgery means there are only very small entry wounds, minimal trauma and reduces recovery times for animals.
Dr Ciara Tinkler, clinical director at Strand Vet says they've already completed more than 250 successful procedures using the technology.
