The sub postmaster of Port Erin Post Office has taken back their notice and will continue to provide services.
It come as the Post Office announced a tender exercise last month for the provision of counter and or/parcel collection services in the area.
It was due to the current sub postmaster giving notice on his contract, and so will now be cancelled.
All interested parties have been notified of this decision.
