A man’s been remanded in custody as he awaits trial over an allegation he assaulted a woman.
Derek Michael Christopher Bird of Ballaphurt Road in Port Erin appeared via a live video link before Deputy High Bailiff Christopher Arrowsmith.
The 54 year old denies common assault and using provoking behaviour on July 29.
There was no bail application and he was remanded in custody until his next court appearance on November 19.
