Port Erin lifeboat was called out on two separate occasions over the weekend to assist yachts in difficulties.
The call came in from the Liverpool Coastguards on Saturday night to assist the troubled vessel which was on passage between Holyhead and Port St Mary.
The catamaran was swiftly located with 5 people on board, it had suffered engine difficulties.
The crews were back out yesterday morning to assist two yachts that were in danger of drifting over rocks just out of Port Erin bay.
Again they were towed back to safety with no injuries sustained to crew members.
