Port Erin Coastguards were called to rescue a struggling diver yesterday evening.
The team brought the casualty into Port St Mary Breakwater and requested a rescue helicopter due to their condition.
They were then transferred to Liverpool for further treatment.
The Coastguard has thanked the IOM Ambulance Service for their assistance and the public for their cooperation in clearing the landing site.
