Coastguards have closed off Port Erin beach as they deal with a 'pollution incident'
Two Douglas Officers were called to assist Port Erin Coastguards to deal with the situation today.
The Douglas team responded with the Pollution Equipment Trailer to provide extra resources for the clean up.
The beach remains shut below the high water line at this time.
This is due to a light covering of fuel on the sand.
However, Port Erin Commissioners have said the area above the high water mark will remain open.
