Port Erin Commissioners say rates in the area will rise by just under five per cent this year.
They're set to rise from 385 pence in the pound to 404 pence.
The board says that'll mean an average increase of 42p a week for a three-bedroomed property.
Chair Hannah Mackenzie says the above- inflation rise will allow the local authority to invest in the community to ensure Port Erin remains vibrant and well-maintained.
